Rice Preparation
Wash 175g sushi rice (short grain and a single crop, but can serve the common rice) with cold water in a colander until the water runs clear. Boil the rice with 250ml of water for 2 minutes, and let stand covered for 10 minutes in the pan and 10 minutes uncovered. Finally, heat 1 tablespoon of salt, another of sugar and two of vinegar, and sprinkle the rice with this mixture.
How to make sushi: Sushi Maki
The maki sushi is prepared with the help of a bamboo mat (bottom). The procedure is as follows, are placed sheets of laver with the flat side down on the mat, then place a layer of rice with wet fingers covering the layer of algae (leave without covering the top edge to roll it ), and put the filling ingredients in the bottom.
